News and Needs

The biggest news is that we have located a manufacturer to make the windows, window frames and gaskets for the entire Silver Hostel.  We have also made contact with several brokers and car owners who will be providing us with original and reproduction parts needed for the Hostel's interior.

Right now, we are working with the window maker on the special engineering needed and raising the money needed to order the windows and complete the dome interior.

Our primary needs at this time are funds and information.  We need an additional $50,000 to purchase the windows, parts and specialized labor needed to complete the dome and exterior work on the Hostel.  We also need answers to the following questions:

--What was the exact color and style of the Cable Car Track carpet used in the Cable Car Lounge?

--What is the specification for the paint colors in the Hostel's interior?

--What floor treatment/carpet colors, styles were used in the dome, kitchen, hallway, etc.

--What was the color and upholstery styles used in the dome, lounge, bedrooms, etc.
