Today is the 59th Anniversary of the i Construction on the cars for the CZ train began in 1948. The final train tied up in Oakland, California on March 22, 1970, 21 years and 2 days later. We have
several events in the works to celebrate this coming anniversary in early 2009, as well as a new Zephyr car soon to arrive in Portola! Your assistance can help us get the California Zephyr back on rails. Some recent donations and a
dedicated team are helping get WP locomotive 805-A mainline ready, but more support is needed. Check back and see what's coming......
